The Lindblom cheerleading team is back in action. The new coach, Andrea Camp, has come and revamped the team with goals of becoming a competitive team as the season progresses. The team’s debut was September 13, 2013, where the girls went out and performed at halftime for the Lindblom Eagle’s football game against Bowen. Ms. Camp has plans to make the team more well known and to show her girls’ talents. The team also has plans of hosting many fundraisers this year from Krispy Kreme donut selling to the school store, and asks for everyone to support them. Ms. Camp says, “This season I am looking for growth and progression,” and her top goal for the team is to see improvements as the season goes on. She feels the team will be better than ever this year and invites anyone who would like to join to come out in November for the team’s winter tryouts. So come out and cheer along with the cheerleaders for the football team when they play Phoenix Military Academy at Stagg for the homecoming game.
