The standard of beauty varies in every culture around the world, and it varies from region to region. Some prefer dramatic make-up, while others may choose more modest make-up and hijabs. Here at Lindblom, we asked 189 people – ranging from sophomores to seniors – if they prefer girls with or without weave, make-up, and if they prefer girls in less revealing clothing, or more revealing clothing.
About 47 percent prefer girls without weave, 31 percent of them prefer girls with weave, and 25 percent of them do not care if a girl wears weave.
When asked about make-up, about 43 percent of people prefer girls without make-up, 46 percent of Eagles prefer girls with make-up, and 33 percent of people do not care if a girl wears make-up.
Lastly, we asked if Eagles prefer girls to dress less modestly or to show some skin. We found that about 34 percent of Eagles prefer girls to dress less modestly, 47 percent of people prefer girls to wear less revealing clothing, and 19 percent of people don’t care if girls wore more or less revealing clothing.
